A legacy build requires more than a ‘ballpark’ guess. We utilize a Design & Development Agreement to ensure every variable is accounted for before we break ground. For a 3% project fee (credited back upon commencement), we provide a full-scale roadmap of your estate’s transformation—including technical elevations and locked-in material costs. This eliminates the ‘bait-and-switch’ culture of the industry and guarantees the price you see is the price you pay

Heath founded Main Line Hardscape & Masonry with a simple mission: to build stone structures that last longer than his golf swing. When he isn’t hand-selecting PA Blue Stone or obsessing over mortar ratios, you can usually find him at the local club.
Despite spending countless hours on the greens and in the weight room, the math remains unfortunate:
The Golf: He’s still chasing a handicap that doesn’t require a “creative” scorecard.
The Gym: He spends an impressive amount of time lifting heavy things just to realize he will never be as strong (or as good at this) as his marketing lead.
While his athletic peak is permanently “under construction,” his commitment to your estate is absolute. He brings the same relentless focus to your retaining walls that he brings to his bench press—though, fortunately for our clients, the masonry actually delivers results.
Heath Maclean started Main Line Hardscapes and Masonry with a philosophy of “Done Once. Done Right.”
Heath has a simple rule: if it isn’t built for the long haul, it isn’t worth building. He founded this firm on the idea that masonry should be permanent, not a temporary fix.
Growing up around the trade, he developed a deep respect for the stone and the grit it takes to do it right. Today, he leads a small, disciplined team focused on quality over volume. For Heath, success isn’t about how many patios we can finish in a month—it’s about building one that looks just as good twenty years from now as it does the day we pack up the trucks.
